Ambition, curiosity, and drive are in my DNA. To bring this powerful trio in sync took me a serious while. While school and studies came naturally to me, I was a proper plough horse in sports: enjoying the grind and never stopping when the coach said to. And while this was good for many years, I know it better today: more is not necessarily better. But we often need to learn this the hard way.<\/p>\n

The fact that I developed a deep passion for cooking and food growing up in my parents\u2019 home laid the foundation for my interest in studying food science. Just as I did in sports, I wanted to excel at the highest level, so I attended ETH Zurich while competing at the elite level.
The combination of science, elite sports, and corporate experience is one of my greatest strengths. Thanks to this comprehensive skill set, I can communicate on an equal footing at various levels and, above all, develop practical solutions.<\/p>\n
